Hi!
I need a versatile solution to optimise clean routing flexibility around a low VF bridge rectifier.
Bourns offers chip diode bridge rectifier CD-HD 20x(L) series. the CD-HD201L suits my other design characteristics.
Datasheet:
Bourns CD-HD2x(L) DatasheetI seek the flexibility to mount a rectifier either normal way (markings on top and visible) or flipped up-side down (top markings towards board).
I'd like to avoid moving the part to the opposite side (bottom <-> top) to achieve this.
Datasheet does not state this capability and for automated production it's probably not a good idea anyway but that's irrelevant at the moment.
From data sheet drawing it seems to be doable without building large solder-blobs to achieve this.
Does anybody have a sample to (visually)check or by experience if it would be okay for reflowing this way?
I will need a run of maybe 100 boards with that setup if it works fine.
And I will try it out before committing

Thanks!
