AC Motor Control With Relays and MCU
« on: April 09, 2016, 07:24:45 pm »
Hi
I have the AC Motor SPDT switch (Up and Down) that control my blinds.

I would like to add relays to control it using MCU (like ESP8266) but I also want a failsafe override switch control, i.e. that if the mCU set Down the blinds, I would like to override it using switch to make it go up.

can someone suggest my a circle for that?

i attached the basic schematics of my blinds current control

My preference is to use a three position switch.  The centre contact connects to L, and the position contacts either the relay's (C)ommon terminal, the Up line or the Down line.  This gives you a switch with Up Down and Auto controls.
Do you need a neutral position where no power is applied to either up or down?

to stop the blinds, I just don't give power for up or down.
so I don't need neutral position.
