Using a Stepper Motor as a Rotary Encoder (Implementation Video)

Hello all,

I've wanted to use a stepper motor as a rotary encoder for some time now, and I think I've achieved a pretty decent result - one that seems to work pretty well on the bench at least. I put the brainstorming and implementation process in video format. Not a great start as far as video making goes, but I really don't have time to put more effort into it right now and it's going to take a lot of work on myself and speaking ability before the quality would become anywhere near something I am proud of. I may consider using a script in the future, but those are quite boring and obvious, but maybe it's the way to go to start out. But the information should be useful if you can slog through the video at 2x speed. Suggestions for improvements welcome, with the video and the implementation.
