2D Magnetic Field Modeling
« on: November 03, 2018, 04:34:10 am »
Hi
I want to make a Magnabend sheet metal bender seen here: http://aaybee.com.au/Magnabend/Building%20Your%20Own%20Magnabend.html

I want to refine the design by improving the usable magnetic clamping force.  To do this I want to use a basic open source (free) 2D magnetic field simulator.

I have found some packages with Google but it is not obvious how long the learning curve is.  This is a basic 2D problem so only a basic simulator is required.

Any recommendations??
