The endless connector hunt -40/105C IP rated 1-5A

We normally use Deutsch DT series connectors but these are big and made to take power stuff as they are rated up to 13A. What I not need is something similar but smaller to carry low power and signals.

Deutsch (TE) did release a mini series of connectors (series 369) but they are even more expensive than the original DT series and we care little for their aerospace credentials.

Any suggestions ?

"IP rated" means nothing - IP what?
Bulgin mini/micro buccanneer are quite good but fiddly to assemble.
Another option I recently discovered are M12 connectors for industrial sensors etc. Nice thing about these is you can buy ready-made cables with moulded plugs fairly cheaply.

Well something like IP67 but let's start with actually having a seal  , I just spoke to one cable supplier we use and he uses a lot of superseal from TE which I'm going to investigate.

Hm to be honest they look like they could be expensive. I've been looking at superseal which look good and cheap and TE have just emailed me back with some information on their new slimseal SSL connectors that look quite good. SSL is supposed to stand for Solid State Lighting, I think their marketing office need a kicking - if it carry's current who cares what it goes into providing it will work in the environment.
