For a project I'm working on I need to control two 230 VAC permanent split capacitor motors (500W each). I need to be able to change direction and speed using an MCU (3.3 VIO). The controller needs to be relatively inexpensive to make in small series (1 to 20) and have some headroom to handle larger motor types.
I did a design (see schematic picture), but so far most of my experience has been DC / low voltage. I'd love to have some critique / feedback on my initial design.
