Title: Volvo MOST to audio out.
Post by: Oneminde on August 20, 2016, 10:08:13 pm
My dilemma is this: I am planing to upgrade the sound system in a Volvo. Volvo has used the MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) since 2008. My goal is simply to either locate a schematic or get help in designing a MOST -> TosLink or analog out so that the audio signal can be sent to a DSP.

I am aware of the Russian Trioma MOST -> TosLink 2.0 but uncertain about the quality.

Basically; How is the MOST-25 signal converted to sPDF/TosLink ?

And the winner for most un-searcheable bus name goes to... MOST.

The file MOSTSpecification_3V0E2.pdf might be what you're looking for. Microchip seems to have products for it.

LOL, I did find some documents last night that I will look through.

- FunctionBlock_AudioAmplifier_2V4-3
- MOST_Book_2
- MOST_FIBEX_Cookbook_1V0
- MOST_FunctionBlock_AudioDiskPlayer
- MOST_MSC_Cookbook
- MOSTSpecification

Via the MOST corporation webpage. And yes I also stumbled upon the Microchip chip's.
