Wanptek 30v/10A Power Supply any good?
(1/1)
ElectricPower:
I bought this Power Supply yesterday: (The one to the left in picture)
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000300017220.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4d6KWGkj
I have a plan to use this for my hobby projects. Is the quality okey?
coromonadalix:
It seems on the same quality that the ones we saw on a few threads here, medium quality, or poorly built ?? i would not put any sensitive or expensive equipment on theses and push them to their limits at 30v 10 amps (300 watts) or try to charge batteries on theses
my 2 cents

I've got a KPS605D, older 60V 5A model. It's a cheap supply, not much to say about it, the coarse knobs are too coarse, and the fine ones a bit too fine. The 3-digit meter is pretty limiting, and inaccurate to boot (the difference between 4.1 and 4.2V is annoying when dealing with low voltage), going to replace it with a better 4-digit meter I'm waiting on. It also makes an awful hissing noise when in constant current mode, guess the switching PSU doesn't like that much.

Okay. Thanks for reply :)
I have allready bought it now, but i think it will hold together for my small tasks. Time will show :)
