| Wanted: 500uA @ 1.8V |
| (1/1) |
| NivagSwerdna:
For my latest diversion I need approx 500uA at 1.8V to power some LP5569 chips... My initial attempt was using an AMS1117-1.8 but the output cap requirement is a bit of a pain from a cost and space point of view. I have regulated 5V to hand. If you needed 1.8V from 5V what device would you choose? A quick Google found TLV716/P but there are loads of other options. Thanks in advance |
| Whales:
Zener-regulator style (ie parallel regulation instead of series regulation)? 1.8V diode + resistor + cap. 0.5mA is nothing. |
| JackJones:
I've used MCP1810 before for low current applications. http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/20005623A.pdf |
| SiliconWizard:
TPS78218 if you want an alternative to TI: XC6206 |
