Help IDing a connector
« on: September 30, 2020, 07:51:55 pm »

Does anyone know what the pictured connector is?  Ruler is in cm; it's on a PCIe digitizer.  It looks like the old Japanese video type connector but wider.   I was trying to dig through Mouser etc but it's kind of hard to narrow things down when I don't even know what family a connector is in.  Appreciate any pointers.

Has the look of a Hirose connector but I can't tell what pitch yours is. You could start by specifying the number of contacts and the pitch and then putting them into the parametric search for I/O connectors on Mouser

Honestly it's hard to count, I tried but with my eyes will need a proper magnifier.  It is in the ballpark of 34.

Those Centronics certainly look close.  I'd forgotten SCSI existed, ha!  Will check those out.  Also will try Hirose on Mouser.  Thanks to you both, I'll report back with how it went.
