868MHz SRF Radio?
« on: July 20, 2018, 12:11:14 pm »
I have been looking at some hardware which was based on RFu 328 which has a 'SRF' radio.

What exactly is a SRF radio?  There seem to be references to "Ciseco" but this company seems to no longer exist

The footprint looks like RFM12B... is SRF actually just a RFM12B?  (The RFu 328 being a Atmel 328 and a radio module... a bit like an Arduino Uno configuration)

Any SRF? clues?

Thanks in advance

I found some more references to CC1110 and CC1111... so looks like it was an RF module based on TI CC1110 with custom firmware.  Looks expen$ive and hence perhaps the reason they don't appear to exist anymore?
