Where to get an LQFP48 socket at a reasonible price?
« on: March 30, 2019, 10:22:49 pm »
I'm looking for a LQFP48 socket so I can build a LQFP48 JTAG programmer where I can drop in the IC and program it without soldering.

Something like this:

https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/ftdi/VPROG-1-S-LQFP48/768-1086-ND/2441376?WT.srch=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjJym-_Kq4QIVg7fACh1A3Af9EAQYASABEgLz2fD_BwE

But at a more reasonable price. Any ideas?

Hey, anybody recognize that socket, and who makes it?  (We are looking for a 64-pin version just like that.)
It looks like it might be an Ironwood socket, that's who we are checking with right now, but haven't gotten any response from them, yet.
