I need to replace an ltc4054 but my local Farnell/rs don't have it but they have alternatives such as this
https://ie.rs-online.com/web/p/battery-management/7328730
.
Will this work?
Will any other alternatives that I can get locally work.
Otherwise I'll just get it on AliExpress or eBay

The Maxim part provides a similar function but it is not pin compatible.

Many other mfgrs copy ICs and they still retain the core part number...in this case "4054"....so a quick search for "4054 battery management"...finds quite a few with the same foot print.
Looking at LTC4045 datasheet Vs STC4054..only a quick glance...looks pretty good to me as a drop in alternate. There are others as well....LR4054. Of course I reserve the right to be completely wrong here!
