overcomplicated wiring for guitar!

<< < (4/4)

ELS122:
I want the volume control to bleed of low frequencies while keeping the high frequencies. and I want the tone control to start bleeding of the treble when you start to turn it and at the last 1/4 turn, I want it to start bleeding out the mids. so basically I want a variable capacitor from a potentiometer.  so basically the volume control I have figured out, I just need help whit the tone control bleeding of high and then mid frequencies

and yes I know it's overly complicated and it's because I don't want to have 50 knobs for each thing. I want it to look stock while being as versatile as it can be!

note: this description doesn't apply for this circuit cause I gave it a little thought and wondered why did I need a tone control that bleeds of low frequencies if I already have one  :palm:

oh and the volume has a slight mistake, I need to connect the tone circuit to the wiper of the pot!

ELS122:
what would adding a resistor across the capacitor do? I've seen something like that done before

ELS122:
ok this will probably be my final design, I might use a 7 trow switch so I can completely turn of each pickup or disassemble the blend pot and put some insulation at the end of each element so the pickup can be switched of meaning that only 1 would be active!
