Title: Wireless HART
Post by: rakeshm55 on July 15, 2013, 02:39:46 pm
Hi,
We have an exposure to Zigbee standard .... our implementation is based on MSP430G2618+CC2520

But in order to try out industrial domain we would like to try some rugged protocol. I am aware of Wireless HART as a suitable protocol for Industrial application.

Will there be an open source stack available for WiHART like the Ztack from TI??? Can the CC2520+MSP430G2618 used for Wi HART development...
If  a third part stack is to be used what will be the type of costs incurred??.

I'm sure someone has done it, if you're handy with C it probably won't be too difficult to implement.

The commercial options are expensive of course:
