Yes, that's the web. They don't have phosphorus plates (I think). My plate is a Fujifilm Speed Green I bought on eBay for 6€. I also designed the support for it, you can find it here.

It does have a fuse, overload and overtemp protection. The power supply (a MeanWell EPP-300-48) also have some protections.

Sorry I have no idea what a ham rig is. If you are talking about EMI noise, I took care of the flux inside the transformer so it doesn't saturate.

I doubt they have phosphorus plates, which would rapidly oxidise. You mean phosphor, a substance which emits visible light, when bombarded with high energy radiation.

Phosphor or phosphorescent screen.

Scintillation is a different phenomenon to phosphorescence and I've no idea of whether it's used in x-ray screens.
