YAMAHA YST-SW80 Home Sub Woofer

Hi Guys and Gals )))

this sub has two choices of inputs, RCA or direct Amp input with speaker out terminals.

Im wondering does it have a max amp input rating that it can handle because I cant find anywhere what the Max input watts from an Amp should be ?

The output transistors keep blowing :-BROKE

Im a newbie in the forum so can i publish a link to the schematic service manual here?

Cheers!

Just replace the whole amplifier board with a fairly cheap class D module?
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

Class D, its a last consideration if fault not cured.

The volume is reduced as it still works but doesn't sound nice.

When the replacement pair of Transistors arrive I will scope the board this time
