Proteus how to import spice model

(1/1)

Quarlo Klobrigney:
I have used the lookup at SamacSys and its other names, for Eagle and or Proteus packages and as always, the spice models are not there.

If I just wanted to draw the library and was in a hurry I would use the service, but I rather enjoy drawing the libraries.

My issue in saving time, is in simulation. To know if my complex circuit will at least simulate somewhat, then I could order the long delayed parts and work out the bugs later.

I did much searching including the dreaded CHAT GPT all to no avail except for this link:
https://youspice.com/how-to-import-pspice-models-into-proteus/

I followed through to the point of actually showing a simulation graph, however no plots are drawn.

The websites version of Proteus is good until page 3 when he says "drag the voltage probe inside the" and then the text to edit goes off the rails.

In addition simulating at 100MHz never works out and this one is no exception. I lowered the speed to 1KHz, still nothing.......

I do have the spice text so you don't have to retype it from the screen if anyone wishes to try it themselves and assist in helping.

All in all, what I really want is to create my own devices with a spice file wherever that would be located from the web. I don't need a graph to be drawn, just have the part work in the circuit.

The spice file default most times is unavailable for newer devices, Or it is, your whole life story is needed to download it.
That's not happening. In my retirement I have enough of intruding annoyances bombarding me and I don't need more.

If this is something I forgot how to do, keep in mind, it may have actually left mine for good!

Please help in sorting what I'm sure an easy task to others. Thanks.
