What do the values in the third column mean? I just dont get it. Even after the next day. I only see a proportinal relation to the record length.

What I see is the theoretical total number of points, which is the second column multiplied by the fourth column.
In fact, a frame of data is not just points on the screen, but also needs to search for trigger points, so the actual frame of data is larger than the screen points.

I have deleted my off-topic posts in here, and i suggest others to do the same.

They say "From power source to tip heater"..

Does that mean they changed:
- electronic board and/or other parts of hardware
- there is only new FW (so it can be applied to old stations boards)

Tip changes are OK, when old tips go I will get new ones with better performance but will it be any better without new controller?

Can existing users upgrade (just electronic board, or FW) ?

I googled with the keyword E6NSA  and found nothing!

The whole this code usuallly contains a date of production so doesn't help. Try to google firts two-three letters combined with a case type code. Like "E6 sot23" etc

I de-soldered B3 and tested it seems OK.

The board traces at B3 seems to be shorted so maybe that is the design, I don’t understand that.

There is a short in diode mode Anode to cathode and the between cathodes.

Then I took out Q1 and measured again.
Resistor 331 measured 331 Ω
R6 measured 0.5 Ω
Resistor next to R6 47 Ω
FB Resistor at IC 0.5-1 Ω

The key.data file contains binary data. Never mind what it looks like when (mis-)interpreted as a text file.

Where (in which folder) did you place the key.data file, and how many bytes does it comprise?

There are bad features and good features, nice and poor features... sometimes also awkward features and very sophisticated or advanced features.
I'm trying to understand, not playing "language police".

Speaking as a (former) translator: "feature" is not an easy word to translate into German (or many other languages, for that matter ).

When it comes to product "features" like a high sample rate, etc., I think this is more often translated (at least in marketing) into German as "Merkmale" rather than "Eigenschaften" (which in most cases is more like "properties" or "attributes").  Another way of saying this is that a "Merkmal" is a special "Eigenschaft" that distinguishes one thing from another (d.h. etw das man "merkt")

I noticed (habe gemerkt ... lol) that, like so many other companies these days, Batronix took the easy way out and just left the word untranslated when describing their new oscilloscope

An input voltage divider, like two resistors such you get the input to say 2.5V with the 250mV pulse on top of it??
