$200 WaterLily Turbine Generator
« on: November 19, 2021, 09:48:51 pm »
Interesting if it works. But too pricey for and way too heavy for a backpacker. If I'm off-road in my FJ, no need for the device. They also offer a wind-powered generator.

So it's a hand-sized river turbine that generates up to 15W of power. I'd look at YT videos of people that want to rate them. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=WaterLily+Turbine+

You'd be better off with solar power bank frankly. When you are somewhere near Earth poles during polar night, of course that will not work. However rivers most likely will be frozen too.
