In the post about the Future of EV's I leaned a lot about EVs. Sadly someone closed the post.
Since this is an experiment in progress I would like to continue the discussion.
Starting it off with an talk just given about Tesla.
https://climateone.org/audio/insane-mode-tesla%E2%80%99s-wild-rideI own a PHEV and recently drove from San Francisco to Ojai, California near Santa Barbara.
I own a Volt which is a PHEV. Price for regular gas in California rally high, we are paying $4.25 / gallon. Last month I was paying $3.25. I didn't think I could find a charging station in the tiny town of Ojai, but to my surprise I found several thanks to the ChargePoint app. Spent the day in Ojai and was able to chare my car for around $6.75. - Fantastic!
PHEVs are wonderful - What I don't understand is why GM is discontinuing the Volt. Far better than a BEV, and certainly much better than an ICE. I can't imagine ever buying an ICE car ever again.
