High Speed IGBT
(1/1)
geggi1:
Hi
Im working on an application that require high speed IGBT.
The switching time between ON and OFF must be better than 10mS.
Voltage rating higher than 300V and current tating of at least 2000A.
Can somebody give me a reccomandation for IGBT with these spesifications or better.
I know that silicone carbide devices are the new and hot stuff for high performance devices would this be a better solution?
ahbushnell:
10 ms is very slow. Did you mean microseconds?
ahbushnell:
Infineon makes high current IGBT's. How fast will your system switch. i.e. pulses per second or is it DC.

one device.

SiC are much faster and more expensive.

Continuous? If so it's going to be a bit expensive.
