Do you agree, what’s shown here is the future of SMPS? The attached shows a 120W Buck with very low output capacitance. (not needing to be electrolytic) However, even after a no_load to full_load transient , and vice versa, the output voltage does not go excessively high, and more importantly, does not go to zero , which may make microcontrollers reset etc.
Just unhook the overshoot and undershoot comparators and see how much worse it is.
This makes way for electrolytic capacitor free SMPS’s.
Do you agree, this paves the way for a paradigm shift in the world of SMPS?
