This may sound basic to others. I have something in mind but i want to get others opinion as well to reinforce it.

So basically, i have a civic instrument cluster detached from the car.
I just want to check ALL the LED indicators if they are working. I want to know where to hook-up the 12V power supply so all the indicators light up.

I have the schematics, and the pin-out (36 pins), and the pic of the instrument cluster (i got from the internet) showing all indicators lighting up with 2 wires connected at the back.  Which tells me, this can be done.  Also, the pin-out shows the ground connection but there is no +12V or BATT connection as most pin-outs do, this is where all my confusion and hesitation comes from.

So my mind tells me i connect the +12V line of the Power supply to the White Line since it is where all the Anode of the LED is connected as shown in Schematics Page 2 and 3. I just want people to agree on this as well? What do you think. Thank you.  :-+ :-+

It looks like pins 17&18 (brown & white) are the ignition & battery (+12V) supply lines with 15&16 (black) being ground. Most of these instrument clusters will light up all lamps for a few seconds and zero the gauges when 1st powered on. So with ground on pins 15&16, I'd apply +12V to pin 18 (white BATT) and then also apply +12V to pin 17 (brown IGN).
