1st time Deoxit D5 user. Is the Windex smell normal?

Bought it locally this morning (@ $25 CAD ~18 USD it was priced better than Amazon.ca) could this be a fake?

Not only the smell caught me off guard, the over-label did too (turned-out it's a just a bilingual Canadian thing..)

I get a smell more like a weak RAID or pesticide, but it could be a windex smell also.
Is the liquid a weak Red in color?

Well, if you mean weak red, as in red-shift in stars, I think so. I sprayed it on some paper and it's so fine it soaked fast through instantly onto a metal surface below. So I let both sit for a few hours. FWIW, I wanted to go slow since this will be sprayed into pots on a vintage TEK T935A scope. See what you think..

AFAIK, they just started carrying it, so if you're closer to the Cambridge or London stores, check them first.
