6gig of laptop service manuals

I cant tell you precisely where they are , just think long john silver and eye patches.

Dont get too excited, I took a look at a couple. NO service sheets or circuit diags

No Lenovo or Thinkpad models in the list but there are lots of Dell, HP, Sony and Acer.

Laptop service manuals are a 'this screw goes here' show. You will never find serious troubleshooting info, let alone schematics, in them. Mostly worthless.

The schematics to many laptops are available on the net nevertheless. Much more likely to be found when knowing the product codename.

Be sure to add quotes around "schematic" when searching, because Google stupidly thinks a user manual is equivalent to a schematic otherwise. :palm:

Oddly enough that particular place (amongst many others) is banned by Virgin Media, the broadband cable provider in the UK. Try a HTTP and you get the website blocked message. Use HTTPS:// however and you get through every time. Unfortunately this trick doesn't work with the "devil on steroids" website.  More faffing with tor or proxies for that one.

If you use firefox try out the zenmate add-on or a vpn that offers some free traffic like tunnelbear.
