| JFerris321:
This is an AT PSU, so the orange cable is the 5v power good signal that turns on once the supply has started and is stable to tell the motherboard that it is safe to post. (Currently this is almost 5.1v 'when' the supply starts which is as expected) Component List: H1 (D6): STPR8 U2: 4N35 U3: M51957A Q1: IRF830 Q2: 9013 Q3: H945 Q6: AN7905T Q7: L7912CV Q8: 431Z TR1: 08SP010 TR2: UEI310 BD1: KBP206G BD2: CTB34 C7: 101 1KV C27: 103K 100V C22: 103 C2 C3 C4: CS472M C8: 50v 10uf C9: 50v 0.68uf C24 C26: 104 C10 C11 C12: 222 C25: 50V 0.68UF C21: 50V 22UF C19: C20 25V 47uF C18: 25V 100UF C13 C14 C15 C16: 10V 1000uF C17: 16V 470uF R40 Resistor Network 5402? I've not had time to map all the resistors values yet but you can probably see them in the images below: |

Was there a sheet of insulating material between the board and the chassis? If it works out of the chassis but not in the chassis, could it be some leads on the new parts installed are too long and shorting to the chassis? |
| Poroit:
What would happen if the Live and Neutral were reversed on this SMPS? Neutral and Ground are normally joined at the Home meter box. |

I suggest first dealing with insufficient power supply to the controller. Have you measured the starting and operating current? |
