A stuck at home electronic to-do list
« on: April 06, 2020, 12:45:15 am »
I'll start...

Check the motor start/run capacitors on your HVAC blower motors!  Mine were both ~30% low and replacing them made a significant difference.  They run stronger and smoother now.

So, what else should we do with all this time and test equipment?  Speak up!

After staying home all this time I just realized that the person sitting on the other side of my breakfast table was my wife! I also realized that the reason I hadn't finished all my electronics projects had nothing to do with with having enough time.

Sort your box of mixed caps. Then continue with the box of mixed resistors. Next the "misc" box. And don't forget all those various screws, nuts and bolt ;)

Luckily, we are still allowed to work at our office, not much to do though, so getting home early and doing some gardening'n'stuff.
