Motherboard not booting up Issue - ASRock IMB-150
« on: February 14, 2024, 09:55:03 pm »
I have an ASRock motherboard (IMB-150) with Mini-Sata Solid State Drive. I have removed the SSD card and re-inserted. After re-inserting the device will not boot up. During boot up error displayed "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key".

Connections on motherboard and ssd card look in good condition, no signs of wear or damaged connections.

During boot up I have pressed F2 to select UEFI setup menu, mSATA 3IE is listed as boot device with no other option available.

Anyone have some advice on how to repair/diagnose/fault find..?

Thanks in advance for any help..

Did you try clearing the CMOS. This will reset the Bios to default. The manual will show which pin header is used for this.

Jwillis is right. Try to clear the cmos. If you cant find the pin as he suggests to reset then take out the coin batt. leave out for a about a minute then put back in and retry.
