ACER Predator Helios 300 10750h rtx2060 not charging battery after short circut

Hello i bought a non working helios and quickly found it had very minor liquid damange. A capacitor was shorted out as marked in the photo and i removed it, fixed the short. Now the laptop turns on works okay other that the fact the battery remains at the same voltage all the time and never charges. any input would be much apreciated, i'm new to board repairs thanks!
