Advantest Monitor Repair

I am in the process of repairing an ADVANTEST R4131B with a ME5813A-TR monitor. The display is a jumbled mess of near horizontal line across the vertical centre of the screen, similar to a partial frame collapse in an analogue TV. I am unable to find a circuit diagram/schematic on the internet or even any reference to the model. The manufacturers name Victor Data Systems is easily found in the Internet but the model ME5813A-TR is not. This would suggest that it is a rare beast. I have even tried searching under the PCB reference number KD31723 to no avail. I am loath to trace out the PCB and make a schematic as this would take two or three days. If I try to run it on my bench (It is inaccessible in the Spectrum Analyser) I would have to provide video and sync inputs and power supplies which I do not see as practical for a one of repair. Has anybody got the schematic or a suggestion as to how the beast can easily be tamed?
