m k:
Keep POD 00 to 05 again.

POD 06 32081 21 _SPC FPU
POD 07 71054 31 _CS U52 timer
POD 08 71054 31 _CS U67 timer
POD 09 68000 15 CLK CPU
POD 10 62421  2 _CS0 RTC
POD 11 62421 15 _CS1 RTC

POD 12 68000 17 _HALT CPU
POD 13 68000 25 _ILP0 CPU
POD 14 68000 24 _ILP1 CPU
POD 15 68000 18 _RESET CPU

Find pattern 6xxx

Tap Run, picture should be empty.
Boot Advantest, what you get?

Try connecting wires to CPU pins 17 and 18, and using those for resetting the machine by grounding both wires simultaneously.
Needed time is around 150 clock cycles, so not very long, but much more gentle than on/off switch.
stfjohn:
I always get a blank image with the words "waiting for trigger"!
m k:
Change Find pattern to 9xxx and try again.

If you still get empty screen change Find pattern back to xxxx and tap Run.
Now you should be back in "normal" waveforms.
stfjohn:
With pattern 9XXX image 1.
Without selecting any pattern, when Advantest boots, the image is always empty. Pressing run after Advantest starts, I get image 2.
m k:
Do it again without image 2, but after image 1 press Run again.
What you see?

Are you still using Advantest's power switch?

E,
wrong image.
Problem with image 1 is that it has no clock signal.
Other is that IPL signals are down and nothing has happened yet.

You can also try changing Time/Div to so long that you can see something changing after POD 15 go up and both being in same picture.
