| [SOLVED] Agilent 54622D strange error and garbled screengrabs |
| (1/1) |
| luuk:
Hey people, I've recently installed a gotek floppy drive emulator in my Agilent 54622D. I used it to capture screengrabs before and it worked fine, but I suspect that after I updated to version A.02.31 (which is the latest software revision afaik) it stopped functioning properly. It gives a weird error on bootup every time the USB is inserted (see below), and the screenshots are garbled (TIF has shifts, and BMP has black lines). Has anyone here ever had this problem? I wonder if it's the software or the cable to the floppy emulator. |

I managed to finally fix this. I first beeped the cable between the GOTEK and my scope through and it turned out to be completely fine. Then I decided to check the FlashFloppy config file. I changed the option write-drain from instant to realtime. This fixed the garbled screenshot issue. However, the scope would still throw the error on boot. This was fixed by changing the ejected-on-startup setting from no to yes. I need to manually "insert" the floppy every time I reboot the scope now, but at least it doesn't revert to default settings anymore due to the error. I hope my woes can help someone else in the future! |

Which model of the Gotek did you use for this? Did you have to modify the front panel or did it come in the slim form factor? |
