Agilent E3615A Voltage dropouts
« on: June 27, 2023, 12:01:22 pm »
Hello!

Please, see a video what happens from time to time on my E3615A PSU.
https://easyupload.io/6y57lu

Sometimes voltage readout fluctuates from almost 0V to set 12V.
What could be the cause of the problem? Bad caps maybe?

Thank you in advance!

Kind Regards,
Hrvoje

P.S.

Sorry for shaky video again  ^-^

from the video it looks like the device enters CC mode for some reason
in the video i didn't see but does the PSU CC led light up while fluctuating like this
if yes it seams like the current read circuit or a bad connection terminal from inside

Hi there!

No, CC led does not light up while fluctuating.

try connecting a scope and see what relay happens at the output
to separate the problem from digital to analog
and troubleshoot using this doc
