Agilent E8257C 20 GHz microwave analog signal generator repair

Hi all,

I recently repaired an Agilent E8257C signal generator. It had some unique self-test errors that I had not encountered before in my experience working on PSG's, so I attempted to troubleshoot systematically first in order to isolate the problem areas. Turns out the repair required both hardware and software, but unit was fully restored and passed calibration.
