rohde schwarz SML 02 repair help please.

Hello.
I was looking for repair tip for sig. generator sml02 and found this site. So first I want to say Hello to all of you.

So I bought this sml on ebay with broken LCD. After replacing with new I can see that I have more problems

After powering up I get error msg.
Module (0/CPU)
Missing data block
10401 / freq data ext
Then sml finish booting up and under error page I have 1 stored error.

315 configuration memory lost; EEPROM data

I check service manual and all info that I can get is that one or more data block is missing. But no info how to repair this. I try with calibration and all tests pass, but error remain. Can someone help me with this error.

I found in manual that exist software SML SERVICE UTILITY, but I can't find it on the net. If someone here have this SW or link where to download, will be very happy.

were you able to find that software or to solve the problem with the instrument?

Hello.
This SW is for service center only, so probably nobady make a copy and release it on net.

I figure out that configuration error is due to wrong firmware update, but benefit is that frequency go to 3.3Ghz. So it is basically SML 03.
