air blower fan blown on new combo hot air station 8586

Hi all,
I have been given by a friend a new and never used hot air station.
Problem is that the fan blown as soon as I turned on the station because they have connected the fan reversed, gnd to vcc and vcc to gnd.
While looking on ordering a replace part from AliExpress,  I have realized most of the fans are 24v, while the one blown one is 12v.
I have checked further and the vcc source Max is circa 15vdc.

Should I pick a 12v or 24v?
