Align laser diode
(1/1)
nccer:
Hello everyone.
I am trying to repair a laser depleted OLS4100.
I have successfully replaced the diode. What can I do now to realign the light path?
Thank you all.
Here is a video of pinhole test.

If you want others to help you, then you need to introduce as many problems as possible and pictures of the device from various angles.
Don’t shoot short videos, long videos are more detailed

I can't really help you on that unit, but I used to repair laser disk players.  This required a set of jigs to coarse adjust the beam, and then a jig to break out the optical sensor to a scope to fine adjust for max signal on the photo cells.  Doing it on the fly is difficult, but possible IF you know the unit and did a lot of them.  It's obviously a very, very fine adjustment.....

Can you find a manual at all?

I have some experience aligning lamps and lasers for lab equipment.  But not the OLS4100 laser scanning microscope you have here.  Have you tried reaching out to Olympus for support?  Even if they refuse to give you the alignment procedure (Which is common in my field) they might be able to give you some clues.
