Alternative diode bridges
« on: February 04, 2019, 10:03:05 pm »
I have a blown PW01, is there some kind of compatibility table like we used to use for transistors.  I haven't found a replacement for under £8 which seems daft.  If I just wanted to fix it I'd just replace it with diodes but I'm trying to keep it authentic.

Just what's the point of diode bridges when they work out 50x more expensive than using the equivalent diodes...... rant over!

The PW01 has an 8A, 100V rating. The equivalent is KBPC801 (100V), but the KBPC808 should be OK (800V).

Similar to the GBU810  (aka GBU8L)  which is 1000V 8A rated (Diodes Inc.)

Very easily found on AliExpress in the cloned PANJIT manufact.
