Amico CUT-60HF won't arc

Hi, got this issue suddenly and it's been rather annoying :( .

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like the high voltage is arcing in the device instead of the business end.

Unplug the unit, wait for 10 minutes to allow the capacitors to discharge.
There is slot cut into the pcb where the arcing occurs, that's for insulation. It looks like that has failed. Clean that slot, remove any carbonization. You might additionally try to apply silicone for more insulation.

But...all that said. You are dealing with high voltage, and if you have no experience in electrical engineering I really suggest you take it to a local sparky and ask them for help. HV is not for beginners, hell, even seasoned EEs get their asses zapped. I've been dealing with high voltage for over 25 years, and it *can* and *will* bite you in the ass given half a chance.
