Amp fuse

got and old amp wanted to see if i could repair it, but it seem like the mains fuse is missing. cant seem to find the fuse rating in the manual. it says 220v 1500 va so would i be fine just thowing a 7amp 250 volt fuse in there.

You could put an 7  or 7.5 amps slow blow, would be enough to take a few boom boom  loll 

1500va / 220 vac is 6.8 amps

DO NOT simply add the VA rating to get an appropriate fuse value. The value should be printed somewhere near the fuse, if not - post back here with a MAKE AND MODEL number and we can probably look it up.

okay  on some audiophiles websites you have an t20 slow blow fuse  for 220 vac,  t40 slow blow at 120vac   is it enough ?? 

Way more than expected and deduced values in my previous post, this one puts tons of amplification wattage ...

Stereo w/ch 1000w x 2/8Ω - 1600w x 2/4Ω - Bridged mono 3200w/8Ω

This puppy has no fuses markings on the case ... ask the company to be really sure

Apparently this is a very high power unit. Therefore I would suggest using ONLY a manufacturer recommended fuse.

I suggest ordering from the manufacturer or distributor. There are special safety considerations for very high power equipment.
