Android motherboard LM removal/repair

Okay so I have a android motherboard that needs l4950ts replaced , I have a rework station and have done such task before but never one with so many components so close. Any advice,precautions, preparations , tools needed best heat temp for air gun any advice in general. Thank you  in advance for the help

15mm x 10mm device with such ample space around is generous spacing, so no need to be afraid of it at all. You may be dealing with lead free solder and multi layer boards, so expect higher heat setting but maybe just 2 layers ....lucky you...

One advice I can give you, protect those plastic connectors nearby, I mean PROTECT it with generous high temperature Mylar tape.

That s a relief I have been sitting on this for a while now as build up experience and I finally got around to ordering the piece , okay I'll be going to go get some Mylar tape in a bit . And now it's the waiting game for usps lol
