Another wonky 8050A (not LCD related)

Yay.. another 8050A 

I've had a 8050 for a while, and its been annoying me for a while.
The symptoms are:

When switching between measurements modes it very often sticks in dB mode, and after a few tries (switching between two modes) i gets it to stay in the right mode.

When measuring the reading ... kinda freezes, it stays at a value and slowly decrease (1 count/s), even going into negative. Example: I measure 05,210V in (20V range), takes the probes away and it stays at 05,210V, then decrease at a rate of 00,001V/s. Shorting the probes does nothing, changing rage or mode, usually leads to Symptom 1.

Does anyone have any ideas, or cleaning advice that could help?
