Burned motor connector on a electric motorcycle
« on: March 26, 2018, 02:30:54 pm »
Hi

I found the reason why my electric scooter is complaining about motor sensor errors the connector between the bldc controller and motor got a little bit too hot. I've replaced the motor and controller with spares. I'm not sure why this happened, it is possible that some moisture got in to the connector i will use some contact grease on the spares.

I'm now looking for ideas how to repair both connectors. I can't cut the wires, they are already too short  :(

Should i order some replacement connectors and try to replace them without shortening the wires?

The motor is rated for 4kW
