Anritsu MS9710C problem
« on: December 17, 2017, 07:46:52 pm »
Hello everyone,
I need help with my new acquisition, an Anritsu MS9710C spectrum analyser, which powers on with a "slit-1 error", as you can see on the picture below.
does anyone have an explanation, or any kind of idea about solving this problem?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Dominique

While I know nothing about the unit itself, given that it is an optical spectrum analyzer, it needs a diffraction grating and a slit (probably adjustable) to disperse the light onto a CCD for analysis. The slit-1 error likely means that the slit is not behaving correctly. Given that it is just a simple slit, I would venture to guess that the driver that controls the slit has a problem, or maybe the optomechanics that adjust its width are malfunctioning in some way
