I have the same meter, but it works fine.  I did manage to find this for you:

It says "backordered", but it may be worth contacting them to find out the details. That is if you don't mind paying $32 plus ship for ir when you can buy an 8- series for nearly that on ebay.  That may actually be your best bet.

There are also new input connectors on ebay for about the same with free shipping, but definitely available.

They all seem to be US (= ludicrous shipping fees). Which is why I said preferably UK.

I have a Fluke 87 spares unit and I am in Ireland. I'll take a look at it.

Fluke UK are fundamentally useless. The ice cream man would probably have been more helpful than they were to me.

However, I did have a very good experience with SJ Electronics. I only needed some little contacts for the range switch in my Fluke 189 (£6), but they were very helpful none the less. They didn't have stock of them, but I still got the parts within a week.

Here is my 87 spares unit. I bought this one as faulty to get the LCD out for one of working meters that had a cracked LCD. It had a few components removed when I got it (some of the input protection, fuses, some capacitors) but the input module looks good. My 2 meters are working fine now so I would like to sell the whole thing.

Huh, i thought that assembly isn't available anymore? At least that was what Fluke told me some years ago when I tried to order one.

Maybe you can "hack" yourself some kind of replacement

For the 80 series III, it was replaceable with MP2, part number 831933 (see pics), but the 80 series V user manual only shows the o-ring as replaceable.

PS. Modemhead has repaired several of the input receptacles (probably 5 or 6) now with the method outlined in his blog.

I've just ordered one a few weeks ago. It was about 20 euro, and it's easy to install (I did this on multiple units). Just mail fluke for the part number and source. Normally Fluke has multiple parts sources in your country.
