Anyone have an idea what this is? (SMD part identifying)

This 3-phase controller board has a few of these, I have some guesses but nothing definitive. Has anyone seen these before? And if so, any part numbers I could reference and research?

Any supporting picture else, other side just plain not a circuit trace at all?

power mosfets, bare die, direct wirebond to substrate. not easily identifyable. only known to device manufacturer

so wonder the golden etching is pure gold or copper, or mix?
isn't it usually B E is short in comm. E config. ?

soft gold, possibly over paladium to bond the wires ultrasonically

Its a single sided board on aluminum. My initial thought, was this was some kind of passive that would dissipate heat from the pads which some of them have +24V.
