Aoyue 701 Schematic Identification
« on: April 26, 2019, 10:23:31 pm »
I have Aoyue 701 vacuum desoldering/solder station not an "A" version which I bought on Ebay more than a decade ago. I believe this was knock of the original Hakko 701. Playing with heating elements I managed to short solder part of the circuit. Desolder gun still works fine. Unfortunately two Ics 14 pin and 6 pin have their marking physically removed. The six pin Ic appear to be driver for the triac and seems to be OK but the 14 pin Ic is cooked. I suspect this is quad Op-Amp, maybe TL074.

Someone might know what IC's were used on this Chinese knock off. I suspect the same as on the original Hakko 701 ???
I already ordered controller for heating element from Ebay never less would be nice to have it repaired.
