I am working on a 26 inch tv model # va26lhdtv10t. I have a chip that I can't find a datasheet on the chip is my5380ltu. I would appreciate it very much if you guys could help me find one. Thank you in advance.

I have tied to put pic on the forum for about a hour with on results. I have used these pixels rates 600*480 800*600 1024*768 1920*1080. I know there are more than this. I hope you smart ee's out there can give me some help. .

Do you have an account with a photo hosting site like Flikr?  (I use SmugMug, which is similar.)  I think the easiest thing to do if you have one is to use the 'insert image' tool (under the bold text button above left) to post a link to the photo on a site like that - there should be a way to get an embeddable link to the image from the hosting site.  As for directly uploading to this site, I'm not sure if you can or not as I've never tried.

consider it a turing test of sorts, I dont think you are capable of fixing a tv if you cant figure out simple file upload

Why does it fail to upload?

filesize probably  (  maximum individual size 1000KB ) , not resolution

AAGH!!! It *IS* a Turing test.   Hopefully the O.P. has more active brain cells than the idiot who emailed a dozen  2MB JPEGs of a small event that few of us had attended CCed to his entire address book, then couldn't understand why he was less than popular with the majority of us who were at that time on dialup!

On other forums I frequently have to contend with 200K file size limits.   Its not an issue if you have a graphics package that can control the file size when saving JPEGs.   Hint: save for Web/Email or use IrfanView's RIOT plugin, but always archive the *ORIGINAL* file if you want to keep it.

It's one of those dodgy noname LCD drivers/processors, right?

Not at all.
It's MediaTek MT5380 with ARM core.
Used in Haier HL32R1, HL32K1, HL32XK1.
