Hi,
I have a problem with my original Beeprog programmer.
Unfortunately its manufacturer support time has expired.
Programmer is correctly detected, but when I run selftest, he returns a error.

Self test log:

Communication test ............ OK                         0:00:00.1
L0148: RAM test ...................... OK                         0:00:00.5
L0149: EEPROM test ................... ERROR: #0100H.
L0150:
L0151:
L0153: Identification (X-Y-Z-R-IEC-D-SW): 165-0-0-0-0-23-3.32b/05.2017

This problem looks like eeprom damage. I wonder how to solve it and it is disappointing that the manufacturer does not support this model.
Can  Anyone help? :)

Thank You for this link and solution :)
But I have two problem with this:
1. Zip file is password protected, and i don't have an account on this portal, and i can`t send PW question about password
2. I`m afraid when I`m programming PIC this firmware, and eeprom`s this dump`s the serial number will be changed, and my geniuine Beeprog will become a clone...

Best regards!

I have a dedicate test board for this programmer (the manufacturer supplies this) :)

oooh kay   done some googlefuu

Well  past the v2.67   there is serial numbering detection, if the serial number is blacklisted it will bust your elnec beeprog programmer, there was many fake / cloned beeprog around

Elnec did this to protect their products

The serial numbers are encrypted in the ic's, and the ic's could not be read unless paying $$$ to break them, apparently someone did this, and sold some new serial programmed ic's

link for the v2.67 software   use at your own risk

After reprogramming eeprom error #0100 is gone, however, this is not the end of the problems...
Self test detects another error #020DH: Supplies and DAC test...
When I try test of pins of the programmed circuit it ends correctly, but when I try read/write chip programmer display a error:
Error #6 (1/5000/7185/12085)
Unexpected error 1 [IEC:7, D:26]!
When I try make calibrate programmer there is no voltage on any of the pins of the socket ( i used dedicate test board).
But when i try read chip then I see the short pulses on the oscilloscope.
Perhaps some of you had a similar problem?
I am constantly trying to find the cause of the fault. I will write if I find something.
